Presidential Elections: November 4, 2008

The United States presidential election of 2008, scheduled for November 4, 2008, will be the 56th consecutive quadrennial election for president and vice president of the United States. It will coincide with the 2008 Senate elections, House of Representatives elections, and gubernatorial elections, as well as many state and local elections

Being a grassroots activist for all campaigns is as a volunteer. Volunteers are never authorized, unless specifically told to do so, to act as authoized agents for the official campaign.

Campaign finance law, both federal, state and local are very specific as to what and how an individual may contribute tangible items. There are contribution limits and prohibitions. Time is never considered a contribution but other expenses may be. When in doubt, check with the campaign for which you are volunteering.

Grassroots volunteers assist their campaign and candidate by directing new found supporters to either the official campaign website or the contact person in their county or state.

JohnMcCain.comCongratulations to Senator John McCain. He is now over the top and is the "presumptive" Republican Presidential Candidate. Learn as much as you can about John and then join his team.

Now the pundits will try and discern who shall be his running mate. Keep John in the news...write your letters to the editor, send your blogs, write your emails!
