[Jessica Sandoval Charlotte Mousel Winner] Congratulations to 2008 San Bernardino County Charlotte Mousel Scholarship Winner Jessica Sandoval.Jessica was born in southern California on September 26, 1990. She attended Christian Schools all her life: elementary school years were spent at Bundy Canyon Christian School and beginning in Junior High through my graduation in June of this year, she has attended Upland Christian School.

Jessica has been accepted at Cal State Long Beach and Pepperdine, but have not yet decided she will attend. She says,"I do, however, know exactly what I want to do in my life. I plan on becoming a second grade teacher, my goal since I was in kindergarten. I have been a teachers aid for second grade for four years and have found it extremely rewarding."

Here in San Bernardino County we also give a scholarship, known as the Perpetual Memorial Scholarship to deserving High School Seniors. This Scholarship, in honor of June Wallin, is given yearly.
